Megan Coleman

Megan Coleman serves as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC). She holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Miami University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky. With a robust background in supporting individuals with disabilities, Megan spent eight years working at a Center for Independent Living, where she began her career in supported employment. After five years of dedicated direct consumer service, she advanced to the role of Executive Director.

Under her leadership, the Kentucky SILC continues to champion the rights and independence of individuals with disabilities across the state. Megan’s expertise and passion are instrumental in driving the organization’s mission forward.

Outside of her professional life, Megan is a devoted mother to two young sons and a pet lover with two dogs. She enjoys a variety of hobbies, including quilting, crocheting, hiking, and gardening.
